INGREDIENTS

6 sweet potatoes

1 tablespoon oil

½ teaspoon salt

Ground black pepper, to taste

STEPS

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Scrub sweet potatoes clean under running water.
  3. Slice the sweet potatoes into wedges, getting at least 6 wedges per sweet potato.
  4. Arrange the sweet potato wedges on baking pans in a single layer. Drizzle with oil, then season with salt and ground black pepper. Mix together.
  5. Roast in oven until soft and browned, about 30 minutes.
